Family Tree Using Excel

Anybody know any good software to print a large tree in the family really?
I have 863 names, some of which date back to 1300. I am currently using Microsoft Excel. That can not be printed if the documents are not sticking together, which seems sticky. Does anyone know of a program or a business that fits on a poster really really?
http://www.rootsmagic.com/wallcharts.htm PrintMyChart.com says it is a full service color printing RootsMagic for users, with prices much lower than the color that you find in your local copy. Do not print more than one 8.5 "x 11" and glue them together. Now you can print graphics up to 42 "wide single sheet up to 100 feet long. The disadvantage is that you must send a GEDCOM file. Http: / / www.tedpack.org / gedcom.html has a page on the conversion of GEDCOM Excel, but not easy. You do not ask, but we must move from Excel to a genealogy program before arriving on time investment in Excel. There are at least three genealogy programs to take account of the United States. I like Roots Magic. Family Tree Maker is the market leader in the market. PAF is free to the Mormons. Any of them would be better than Excel. For example, one of them tells you when you misspell a birth, marriage or death date as bad that you have someone with such facts in order. (Born in 1810 and died in "188" or 1188 "For example, instead of" 1888 ", in fact," the death "for many years before my birth). Excel will not tell you that.
